PCE-1000N is a portable handheld Material Tester used to measure the hardness of pure aluminum, soft aluminum, thick aluminum alloy and aluminum sheets, strips, rods, castings and forgings. The hardness of fiber-reinforced (FRP) plastics, glass-reinforced (GRP) plastics, hard plastics and soft metals (such as copper or lead) also can be tested using this battery-powered digital Barcol impressor hardness meter.
- Measurement parameters: Barcol (HBA), Brinell (HB), Vickers (HV), Webster
(HW)
Rockwell (HRB / HRE / HRF / HRH)
- Measuring range: 0 ... 100 HBA / 25 ... 150 HB
- Accuracy: 81 ... 88 HBA: ± 1 HBA / 42 ... 48 HBA: ± 2 HBA
- Repeatability: 81 ... 88 HBA: ± 1.5 HBA / 42 ... 48 HBA: ± 2.5 HBA
- Resolution: 0.1 HBA
- Meets ASTM standards: E140-97; D2583-75; B648-78
The Leeb Material Hardness Tester for Metal PCE-900-ICA measures the hardness of nine different metals using the Leeb rebound method.
This means that with the material hardness tester a firing pin bounces on a metallic surface and the intensity of the rebound is used as an indicator of the material hardness.
The Material Hardness Tester for Metal measures the metal hardness in 6 different hardness scales.
- Measurement according to Leeb Rebound method
- Testing of HRC, HRB, HV, HB, HSD
- Measurement Range: 200-900 HLD / 13-99 HRB / 20-68 HRC / 20-655 HB / 80-940 HV / 32-99 HSD
- Accuracy: 0.80% / Repeatability: 1.10%
- Incl. type D Leeb probe
- Optional Software Available
- incl. ISO Calibration Certificate
Due to its compact design, the PCE-2550-ICA material tester is easy to use for incoming and outgoing inspections. Due to the adjustable hardness scales, the material tester is very versatile.
- Measuring ranges: 170 ... 960 HLD
- Measurement direction: 360°
- Impact device: Type D
- Measurement units: HL, HB, HRB, HRC, HRA, HV, HS
- Internal measurement memory
- incl. ISO Calibration Certificate

In addition to Leeb hardness units, the metal hardness tester displays hardness measurements in Rockwell C, Rockwell B, Rockwell A, Brinell, Vickers and Shore hardness units.
- Measurement ranges: 19.8-68.5 HRC / 13.5-101.7 HRB / 59.1-85.8 HRA / 19-655 HB / 80-976 HV / 32.2-115 HS
- Hardness units: HL, HRC, HRB, HRA, HB, HV, HS
- Accuracy: ± 2% / Repeatability: ± 2%
- Impact device: Type D (integrated)
- Data Analysis Software
- For use with hammered steel, cold-rolled steel, stainless steel, cast iron, ductile iron, aluminum alloy, brass, bronze and forged copper alloy metals
The Material Surface Roughness Tester PCE-RT 10 is a small, light device with simple navigation. Despite the fact that the device functions on a very complex and elaborate level, the measurement results can be acquired quickly and in an accurate way. Very simple to operate with a motorized diamond sensor.
