Description
PCE-FD 20 is a portable ultrasonic defectoscope with a large LCD screen that displays A-scan maps of ultrasonic signals as well as B-scan cross sections. Ideal for use in mechanical engineering, aerospace and metallurgical applications, this high-frequency ultrasound-based defectoscope uses a contact transducer (two different probes included; 45° and 90°) to measure material thickness and identify flaws and defects such as discontinuity in welds.

The contact gel is used in ultrasonic material thickness measurements. The gel ensures good contact between the measuring head and the workpiece. The moderate temperature contact gel can be used at temperatures of -10 to 80°C / -14 to 176°F.
- Usable up to 80°C / 176°F
- Improves contact between the transducer head and the material to be measured
- Protects material surfaces from the transducer head
- 100 ml size
- See downloads for MSDS
