Description
For programming PCE Instruments converters, displays,
controllers etc. / USB connection / easy parameterization via software
The USB / RS485 signal converter PCE-PD10 is required to connect different Modbus devices to the PC. The RS485 / USB signal converter allows parameters of Modbus devices to be changed via software (compatibility note). Up to 32 Modbus devices can be connected to a PC via the signal converter. The two interfaces of the signal converter are galvanically separated from each other, so that a destruction of the PCs or the Modbus devices is excluded. The signal converter does not penetrate the structure of the transmitted data and is compatible with industrial communication protocols such as MODBUS ASCII, MODBUS RTU, LUMBUS and others. The data transmission is reported in the signal converter by means of two signal diodes TxD and RxD. The converter is a portable device, powered from the USB interface. It is intended for laboratory and industrial applications. PCE Instruments can be directly connected to PCE Instruments via the downloadable PCE software.
