Description
PCE-CT 26 Coating thickness gauge Coating thickness gauge or meter with external sensor to test coating thickness on metal surfaces |
The PCE-CT26 Coating thickness gauge or meter is used for quickly detecting the coating thickness of paint on magnetic metals, such as iron in the automotive sector. One typical use is in detecting damage to car bodies to establish if the car has been in an accident and the resulting value of the car in the used car market. The combination of a device with an external sensor which allows for measurements indoors. It is very easy to use, simply turn on the device, place the sensor on top of the surface that is to be measured and read the measurement value on the display. The gauge allows for the selection of damage to a car or if it has been painted again. This clarifies, at the time of purchase, if the price of the car should be adjusted, to ensure that a fair price can be negotiated and the true condition of the car is known.
