Contact / Non-Contact Food Thermometer with Bluetooth interface / Measuring range -40 ... 300°C (-40 ... 572°F) / Charging station / penetration temperature probe for checking the core temperature / Background lighting / Temperature indicator display / Stop watch / Emissivity 0.95
The contact / non-contact thermometer is used to check the temperature of food. In addition to the surface temperature via the infrared sensor, the thermometer can also be used to determine the core temperature via the fold-out resistance temperature sensor. Both temperature sensors on the thermometer have a measuring range of -40 ... 300°C / -40 ... 572°F.
In addition to the normal measured value display, the contact / non-contact thermometer has a temperature display. This display on the thermometer signals whether the temperature of the food being measured is optimal. If the temperature is between 4 … 65°C / 39.2 ... 149°F, this is indicated by a red LED. If the temperature is colder than 4°C / 39.2°F or warmer than 65°C / 149°F, this is indicated by a green LED. This function in the thermometer is particularly important in order to monitor the respective temperature chain. Therefore, the thermometer is used especially in the food industry.
The Bluetooth interface enables communication between the thermometer and a mobile Android and iOS device. With the free app for the thermometer, the measured values can be recorded with a mobile device and exported for later analysis. To charge the measuring device, the thermometer can be plugged into the charging station provided. If necessary, the thermometer can also be charged via a 5 V micro USB interface.
