- Accuracy: ±1.0 dB (50 MHz to 1.9 GHz), ±2.4 dB (1.9 GHz to 3.5 GHz)
- Displays units in mV/m, V/m, µgA/m, mA/m, µgW/m² or mW/m²
- Calculates average value and stores up to 99 readings to memory
Environmental meter with internal memory and software. This environmental meter has been usually used in nuclear power plants. Everyday it is most commonly used in the control and radiation testing of imported goods (steel, wood) from critical areas, as well as to measure the food which has been previously irradiated. This environmental meter can be also used to measure natural radioactive radiation as the one which appears near lakes.
- Measurement ranges: 0.01 µSv / h - 1000 µSv / h
- Radiation detector: Geiger-Muller counting tub
- Internal memory: 2 KB
- Radiation types: Alfa 4 MeV, Beta 0.2 MeV, Gamma 0.02 MeV
The Class 1 outdoor decibel meter PCE-432-EKIT can be used, e.g, for sound measurement of street noise, aircraft and train noise, event noise, noise coming from construction sites, ports, factories involving heavy machinery, airport/bus stations, stadiums, horse/motor racing tracks etc. The weather conditions do not matter, and hail, snow, rain and similar are no problem for this system for outdoor noise monitoring. The outdoor decibel meter is equipped with a GPS receiver which allows the user to assign the measured values to an exact position.
- Accuracy class 1
- GPS function
- A, B, C & Z frequency rating
- Fast, Slow, Pulse and Peak time weighting
- Statistics function
- 1/1 octave band included
- 1/3 octave band optional
- Incl. Outdoor Alarm Noise Meter Kit PCE-4xx-EKIT
- Outdoor measurement of sound and noise
The environmental meter PCE-428-EKIT, from the field of environmental measurement technology, is an optimal sound level meter for measurements at workplaces, construction sites, in traffic, airports, etc. The environmental meter is a class 2 device and is equipped with an octave band frequency filter. Optionally, the environmental meter PCE-428-EKIT can be upgraded with a 1/3 octave band filter. The additional kit for outdoor sound measurement makes it possible to measure outdoor noise with a SPL meter over a long period of time, even in the rain.
