The paint test equipment was developed for quality control and offers a high accuracy. When using the paint test equipment, you can choose between different color spaces (CIE L*a*b*C*h, CIE L*a*b*). After a measurement with the paint test equipment, the reading can be used as a reference value while other readings can be recorded as a sample and later be compared to the reference value easily.

PCE-5000 is a portable hardness tester or durometer that uses the ASTM A1038 ultrasonic contact impedance (UCI) method to measure the hardness of metals and alloys to measure on a minimum material thickness of 2 mm / .08 in. The test instrument can be mounted on a test stand (as an option) for series measurement in manufacturing process checking. Non-destructive testing produces microscopic indentation.

PCE-CT 65 is a paint thickness gauge that uses magnetic induction (ferrous) or eddy current (non-ferrous) to take non-destructive measurements of coating and dry film thickness (DFT) on metal substrates such as steel and aluminum.
