The Leeb Surface Testing PCE-900-ICA measures the hardness of nine different metals using the Leeb rebound method.
This means that with the Surface Testing a firing pin bounces on a metallic surface and the intensity of the rebound is used as an indicator of the material hardness.
The Surface Testing measures the metal hardness in 6 different hardness scales.
- Measurement according to Leeb Rebound method
- Testing of HRC, HRB, HV, HB, HSD
- Measurement Range: 200-900 HLD / 13-99 HRB / 20-68 HRC / 20-655 HB / 80-940 HV / 32-99 HSD
- Accuracy: 0.80% / Repeatability: 1.10%
- Incl. type D Leeb probe
- Optional Software Available
- incl. ISO Calibration Certificate
The UCI material tester PCE-3000U can be used for quickly checking the hardness of components even after installation. The device offers a wide measurement range, easy handling, robust design and a temperature resistance up to 40 °C or 104 °F. In addition to the hardness scales in Rockwell, Brinell and Vickers, the UCI hardness tester can test the tensile strength of steels up to 1740 MPa or 70 HRC.
- Ultrasonic non-destructive hardness testing (UCI)
- Ideal for thin metals, complex shapes, hardened layers, or requiring very small indentation
- Fast measurement times with very high accuracy
- One 50 N UCI probe included
PCE-HT-225A is a heavy-duty concrete hardness tester or concrete test hammer, also called a concrete rebound hammer or Swiss hammer, used to measure surface hardness and material compression strength. Suitable for use with concrete, rock and building materials, this rugged, manufacturer-calibrated rebound hammer is both easy to use and built to last.
- Test range: 10 ... 60 MPa or 100 ... 600 kg/cm² or 1450 ... 8702 psi
- Impact energy: 2.207 J or N-m / 0.225 kgf.m / 1.6278 ft-lb or Type N
- Impact stroke: 75 ± 0.3 mm / 2.95 ± 0.012 in
- Radius of spherical tip: 25 ± 1 mm / 0.99 ± 0.04 in
- kg/cm², psi, and MPa conversion tables

The Ultrasonic Contact Impedance (UCI) durometer PCE-3500 has been designed for the non-destructive hardness measurement of metallic components. A 136° Vickers diamond at the probe is stimulated with its self-resonance to allow the user to very accurately measure hardness of small items, thin-walled items (>1 mm), and surface-hardened layers. Small imprint after measuring for mirrored surfaces.
- Probe is 50 Newtons / 11.2 lbf force, 10 and 98 N probes are options
- Tests HRC, HRB, HV, HB, MPa
- Memory function via SD card and included PC software
- Large color LCD display with back lighting
