PCE-COM 20-ICA is a portable handheld non-destructive material tester for non-ferrous metals. This non-destructive testing (NDT) device uses eddy current to determine the electrical conductivity of non-ferrous metals such as aluminum and copper. Includes 3 standards for testing.
- Operating frequency: 60 kHz
- Sine wave probe: Ø 14 mm / ≈ 0.55 in
- Memory: Up to 500 groups of measurements
- Lift-off and temperature compensation
- Automatic calibration
- incl. ISO Calibration Certificate
The UCI material tester PCE-3000U can be used for quickly checking the hardness of components even after installation. The device offers a wide measurement range, easy handling, robust design and a temperature resistance up to 40 °C or 104 °F. In addition to the hardness scales in Rockwell, Brinell and Vickers, the UCI hardness tester can test the tensile strength of steels up to 1740 MPa or 70 HRC.
- Ultrasonic non-destructive hardness testing (UCI)
- Ideal for thin metals, complex shapes, hardened layers, or requiring very small indentation
- Fast measurement times with very high accuracy
- One 50 N UCI probe included
PCE-5000 is a portable material hardness tester that uses the ASTM A1038 ultrasonic contact impedance (UCI) method to measure the hardness of metals and alloys with a minimum thickness of 2 mm / .08 in. Non-destructive testing produces microscopic indentation.
- Measurement according to ASTM A1038 ultrasonic contact impedance (UCI) method
- Measurement units: Rockwell A (HRA), Rockwell B (HRB), Rockwell C (HRC), Brinell (HB), Vickers (HV) and MPa (N/mm²) SI units
- Measurement ranges: 61-85.6 HRA, 41-100 HRB, 20.3-68 HRC, 85-650 HB, 50-999 HV, 255-2180 MPa (N/mm²)
- Accuracy: ± 1.5 HR, ± 3% HB, ± 3% HV, Repeatability: ± 0.3%
- Memory size: 1,000 groups for measurement data and 20 groups for calibration data
- Different probe types (also automatic motorized probes) available

PCE-CT 65 is a material coating thickness meter that uses magnetic induction (ferrous) or eddy current (non-ferrous) to take non-destructive measurements of coating and dry film thickness (DFT) on metal substrates such as steel and aluminum. This thickness gauge is ideal for painted and powder-coated surface testing, automotive paint inspection, coated material testing, and manufacturing quality control applications.
- Measuring range of 0 ... 1350 µm / 0 ... 53 mils
- Accuracy of ±2.5 % ±2 µm for 0 ... 1000 µm / ±3.5 % for 1000 µm ... 1350 µm / ±2 % ±0.08 mils for 0 ... 39.3 mils / ±3.5 % for 39.3 mils ... 53.1 mils
- Saves up to 1500 measurements to memory
