The Xgard Type 5 gas detector is a robust, explosion-proof gas sensor for flammable gases. The Xgard Type 5 gas detector is available in different versions, depending on the gases for which it is to be used. The gas measuring device measures the respective flammable gases with the help of an integrated pellistor.

With its hydrogen-selective sensor, the gas detector can detect the smallest leaks with a very low leak rate. Containers or lines that do not contain hydrogen can also be checked for leaks with the gas detector if they are filled with test gas containing hydrogen and then checked for leaks.
