The ultrasonic HVAC meter is a fixed installation meter. The flow rate of liquids in pipes can be determined with this HVAC meter. The sensors from the ultrasonic HVAC meter can be mounted directly on the pipes to be measured without having to cut them open. The flow velocity is calculated using the transit-time principle which requires the solid impurities be less than 5% for accuracy.
