The PCE-VA 20 is a versatile multifunction anemometer for determining environmental conditions such as wind, temperature and humidity. It is additionally used to test heating, ventilation and air conditioning / cooling (HVAC) systems. This triple thermometer-hygrometer-anemometer device has a 10 cm / 3.9" Ø fan impeller and a clear backlit LCD. Available functions include display hold, average / maximum / minimum value, auto shutdown, low-battery warning, and metric / imperial choice.
- Measures air flow velocity, volume flow, relative humidity, air temperature, dew
point temperature and wet-bulb temperature
- Air flow velocity range: 0.2 ... 30 m/s (39.4 ... 5905.5 fpm)
- Accuracy: ±(1.5% of measured value + 0.3 m/s) when less than 20 m/s, ±
(3% of measured value + 0.3 m/s) when more than 20 m/s
- Resolution: 0.1
- Incl. ISO Calibration Certificate
PCE-VA 20 is a multifunction anemometer for assessing wind, weather, indoor / outdoor environmental climate conditions as well as for testing heating, ventilation and air conditioning or cooling (HVAC) systems. The anemometer PCE-WSAC 50W 24-ICA is useful for measuring the wind speed to help determine the preferred site for a wind turbine installation. The device also monitors the wind load on existing wind farms, as well as on cranes for safey purposes. Due to the integrated 4 ... 20-mA analogue output of the anemometer, the measured data can also be transferred to other controllers for evaluation.

A strong wind is not esssential to use the PCE-WSAC 50-910 anemometer, as it has a measuring range of 0 to 110 mph. In addition to the actual wind speed, this versatile anemometer can display the average wind speed over the last two minutes and five minutes. The anemometer is suitable for numerous wind detection applications in outdoor industries, e.g. on construction sites.
- Pre-alarm and full alarm with visual and audible warnings
- Measuring range: 0 ... 110 mph
- Power supply: 24 V DC
- Signal input: 4...20 mA
- incl. ISO calibration certificate
The PCE-WSAC 50-920 anemometer shows the speed of the wind and also the average figure over the prior two minutes and five minutes. The smallest wind motion is detected by this accurate anemometer. The timber industry, the mining industry, and the construction industry are some examples of applicable wind monitoring application areas for the anemometer.
