This Probe Thermometer is suitable for fast, non-contact temperature measurement during maintenance and servicing work, in mechanical and systems engineering, on heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, and for checking surfaces in various industrial applications. The Probe Thermometer enables measurements in the range from -50 … 1000°C. It also features a Type K input for contact measurements in the range from -50 … 1370°C.

With a response time of less than 150 ms, the Probe Thermometer enables rapid recording of temperature values. The 20:1 measurement spot ratio allows measurements from greater distances, while the circular laser target guide supports precise alignment with the measuring point. The emissivity can be adjusted from 0.10 … 1.0, allowing it to be adapted to different surfaces. The spectral response range is 8 … 14 µm. MAX, MIN, DIF and AVG functions, as well as upper and lower limit alarms, are available for monitoring measured values.

The Probe Thermometer has a backlit LCD and allows the selection of °C or °F. An automatic data-hold function, automatic switch-off, an over-range indicator and a trigger lock for continuous measurements complete the equipment. Power is supplied by two 1.5V AAA batteries.
