The NDT test instrument is used for the quick and precise detection of layer thicknesses on metals. In comparison to many other NDT test instrument, this NDT test instrument does not have to differentiate between ferrous and non-ferrous metal. With the small and compact design of the NDT test instrument, one-hand operation is possible. Despite its small size, the NDT test instrument has a measuring range of 1500 µm and an accuracy of ± (3% + 1 µm). 
 
The measured values displayed can be output in µm, mm and in mils on the NDT test instrument. In addition to measuring the layer thickness, the NDT test instrument can determine the smallest, the largest and also the mean value from a series of different measurements. The NDT test instrument also has an automatic switch-off function.
