Description

The environmental meter is a class II (type 2) sound level, sound pressure level (SPL), decibel (dB) or noise meter with audible or visual alarm output capability. The environmental meter is used for long-term, continuous monitoring of occupational noise exposure limits in industrial environments such as foundries, factories and manufacturing production floors. The measuring device consists of a wall-mountable acoustic sensor on a 1.5 m / 4.92' long cable and a transmitter.

The calibration frequency for the class II acoustic calibrator is 1000 Hz and is a sinusoidal shape. Compared to other calibrators, this class II acoustic calibrator has three adjustable sound pressure levels. 94 dB, 104 dB and 114 dB are available and can be selected by pressing a button on the class II acoustic calibrator.
