The environmental meter has a measuring range of up to 0 ... 30 m/s. In addition to the velocity, the environmental meter can precisely measure the volume flow and temperature. PCE-HVAC 3 is a multifunction environmental meter, tester or diagnostic measuring device used for indoor climate and environmental monitoring. In addition to measuring relative humidity and ambient room / dry-bulb temperature, the meter calculates dew-point and wet-bulb temperatures in degrees Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F). Thus, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) installations and HVAC system performance assessments are key applications of the PCE-HVAC 3 meter.

Without a doubt, the main advantage of this handheld cup vane environmental meter is that it doesn't need to be held exactly in the direction of the wind. environmental meter with impellers typically have to be held exactly in the direction of the air flow to take accurate measurements. The PCE-IR 100 is an environmental meter for measuring surface temperature and the core temperature of food. This environmental meter allows for quick and easy testing of food surface temperatures without contamination using the infrared sensor, while also offering the possibility of testing food internal temperatures using the food-quality sensor probe.

The environmental meter is used to measure the pH of viscous media.
