Current clamp with NCV measurement / Current measurement up to 200 A AC / Frequency measurement directly on the clamp / Ready for immediate use / Simple operation
The current clamp is a multimeter with a variety of different functions. Current measurements up to 200 A AC can be carried out with the current clamp without contact. This current range of the current clamp covers a wide range of current measurements. Thanks to the contactless current measurements of the current clamp, measurements can be made during operation. This means that there is no need to prepare the current clamp for measurement, as measurements can be taken directly on the cable to be measured.
Another special non-contact feature of the current clamp is the NCV (Not Connected Voltage) measurement. With this measurement, the current clamp can indicate whether a voltage is present on a line. Here, too, the current clamp does not need to be prepared for measurement during operation. These two features of the current clamp thus reduce the risk of injury from electric shock.
Other useful functions of the current clamp are the measurement of resistance and the continuity test. The continuity test of the current clamp can be used, for example, to determine whether a relay in a switch box is fully closed. Thanks to the fast measuring frequency of the current clamp, any current fluctuations can be determined. This makes the current clamp an indispensable tool for every electrician.
