The magnetic strength meter is a portable measuring device for the precise detection of magnetic field strengths and for determining magnetic polarity. The device works with an integrated Hall sensor that reliably measures magnetic flux density and requires no wear-prone replacement parts. The display is shown on a backlit LCD display, which indicates the magnetic field strength in millitesla (mT); switching to gauss (Gs) is also provided. In addition, an LED display informs the user of the magnetic field polarity (red for north pole, green for south pole), ensuring clear identification of the field direction.

The Magnetometer / Magnetic Field Detector has functions such as HOLD for data storage and ZERO for zero-point adjustment, supporting stable and reproducible measurements. The measuring range is typically 0 … 2500 mT, with an accuracy of ±(5 % of reading +0.05 mT). Power is supplied by batteries, allowing mobile use.
