DIN rail measuring device for thermocouples and resistance thermometers / suitable for standard signals Galvanic isolation of input and output
The PCE-P20 DIN rail measuring device was developed to convert the signal from various standard temperature sensors into a standard signal of 4 ... 20 mA. In addition to temperature sensors such as PT 100, PT 1000 and thermocouples, the DIN rail measuring device can convert various types of other signals. This means that the DIN rail measuring instrument can be used universally. Even voltages of -10 V ... 10 V can be implemented in various grades in 4 ... 20 mA. The input and output as well as the voltage supply of this device are galvanically separated from each other. The DIN rail measuring device has its own temperature compensation, which is required when signals from thermocouples are to be converted. A connection of an external compensation is thus not necessary with the DIN rail measuring instrument PCE-P20. The parameters of the DIN rail measuring instrument are transferred to the device via the programming adapter PCE-PD14. This function prevents unintentional manipulation in the process. The current measured values can also be displayed in the software. This is particularly advantageous if the DIN rail measuring device has been reconfigured and has not yet been installed in the process. This function can prevent errors in advance.
