The FMD 6 is a handy and versatile absolute moisture meter for reliable measurement of the moisture content of paper, wood and construction materials. The absolute moisture meter has preset characteristic curves for the moisture measurement of specific materials. The moisture meter needs external sensors (sold separately - please see accessory list) to operate.The sensors can be positioned on the surface of a material or inserted into a material, thereby permitting either non-destructive or destructive measurement.
The absolute moisture meter has a moisture measuring range of 0 … 100%. The absolute moisture meter is operated via the 5" touchscreen. To determine the moisture content with the absolute moisture meter, a sample is evenly distributed on the sample pan.
The PCE-MA 202 is an oven-drying absolute moisture meter for weighing and heating material samples to determine moisture content. The heating chamber warms up to 199 °C / 390 °F with the use of halogen lamps. Drying of the sample to be weighed takes place within the chamber of the absolute moisture meter and the moisture content is subsequently calculated from the difference between the initial and final weight.
