PCE-RVI 1 is an analogue viscometer or dial reading viscometer used in industrial and research applications to measure the viscosity of fluids such as paints, lacquers, inks, pastes, adhesives, plastics, greases and liquid food products. Under identical conditions, test results from an analogue viscometer are as accurate and reproducible as results from a digital viscometer. Thus, the PCE-RVI 1 analogue viscometer offers an affordable solution for viscosity measurement during product and material testing, development, production and quality control.
- Rotational speed: 6, 12, 30, and 60 rpm
- Viscosity range: 10 ... 100,000 mPa.s / cP
- Accuracy: ±5 % full scale (FS) in Newtonian fluids
PCE-5000 is a portable hardness tester that uses the ASTM A1038 ultrasonic contact impedance (UCI) method to measure the hardness of metals and alloys with a minimum thickness of 2 mm / .08 in. Non-destructive testing produces microscopic indentation.
- Measurement according to ASTM A1038 ultrasonic contact impedance (UCI) method
- Measurement units: Rockwell A (HRA), Rockwell B (HRB), Rockwell C (HRC), Brinell (HB), Vickers (HV) and MPa (N/mm²) SI units
- Measurement ranges: 61-85.6 HRA, 41-100 HRB, 20.3-68 HRC, 85-650 HB, 50-999 HV, 255-2180 MPa (N/mm²)
- Accuracy: ± 1.5 HR, ± 3% HB, ± 3% HV, Repeatability: ± 0.3%
- Memory size: 1,000 groups for measurement data and 20 groups for calibration data
- Different probe types (also automatic motorized probes) available
The paint test equipment was developed for quality control and offers a high accuracy. When using the paint test equipment, you can choose between different color spaces (CIE LAB, XYZ, LCh, RGB, LUV). In addition, the paint test equipment comes with two different measuring apertures (Ø4 mm and Ø8 mm). After a measurement with the paint test equipment, the reading can be used as a reference value while other readings can be recorded as a sample and later be compared to the reference value easily.
- CIE LAB, XYZ, LCh, RGB, LUV
- White calibration
- Storage of 100 reference values and 20,000 samples
- Light sources D65, A, C, D50, F2, F6, F8, F10, F11 and F12
- Exchangeable measuring apertures
- Illumination/Viewing Angles 8°/d and CIE 10°
The PCE-PGM 100 gloss meter works with measuring geometries of 20°, 60° and 85°, using the reflection principle. This means that the gloss meter emits light which hits the surface to be tested. A part of the light will be absorbed by the surface and another part will be reflected.
- Measurement geometry: 20° / 60° / 85°
- Standards: ISO 2813 / GB/T 9754 / ASTM D 523 / ASTM D 2457
- Range: 20°: 0 ... 1000 GU / 60°: 0 ... 1000 GU / 85°: 0 ... 160 GU
- Incl. ISO calibration certificate
The paint testing equipment was developed for quality control and offers a high accuracy. When using the paint testing equipment, you can choose between different color spaces (CIE L*a*b, CIE L*a*b*C*h). After a measurement with the paint testing equipment, the reading can be used as a reference value while other readings can be recorded as a sample and later be compared to the reference value easily. Useful for determining color difference, chromaticity index, color sample database management, and color difference cumulative analysis.
- CIE L*a*b*C*h, CIE L*a*b*
- Measuring aperture: Ø8 mm
- optional liquid sample kit listed under accessories
- Storage of 100 reference values and 20,000 samples
