PCE-HVAC 3 is a thermo hygrometer or diagnostic measuring device used for indoor climate and environmental monitoring. In addition to measuring relative humidity and ambient room / dry-bulb temperature, the thermo hygrometercalculates dew-point and wet-bulb temperatures in degrees Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F). The thermo hygrometer is used in HVAC technology to monitor humidity and temperature. The measured values are output as a standard signal by the thermo hygrometer. Air humidity and temperature are accurately determined in this compact thermo hygrometer via a semiconductor component. For commissioning, the thermo hygrometer is supplied with a DC voltage. The measured values are output via a two-wire cable.

The Thermo Hygrometer Barometer records the air temperature as well as the relative humidity and the barometric pressure and saves them internally on an SD card. The compact device with a large memory (up to max. 16 GB SDHC card) is primarily used for long-term registration in the food sector (refrigerated counters in department stores, refrigerated transports, warehouses) as well as for measurement and recording in industry (heating and cooling processes, machine temperatures, product storage, etc.).
