The Temperature Data Logger detects air temperature and humidity and stores readings in its internal memory. The Temperature Data Logger has a compact format and a wide memory capacity (up to 32,000 values / 16,000 values for each parameter) and it is mainly used as a data logger in fields such as supermarket refrigeration units, refrigerated transport, warehouses, and other temperature controlled environments.

Temperature data loggers are used to measure and monitor temperatures. These measurement data are saved from a storage medium by the temperature data logger and are available to the user for later evaluation on a PC. Temperature data loggers with internal sensors are often used to measure temperature and humidity. This type of data logger is mainly used in industrial areas where temperature and humidity play a major role. This can be within production in order to comply with the quality specifications, but also during transport in order to record transport and storage conditions with a temperature data logger. Data loggers with batteries have the advantage that batteries are available almost always and everywhere. If the battery is empty, it can be quickly changed in the temperature data logger and it can be used again immediately. Data loggers for the temperature with an internal battery, on the other hand, usually have a longer runtime and can also be operated via a charging cable if the battery is no longer fully charged.
The size and type of memory always depends on the period of time for which the measurement data is to be saved. Temperature data loggers are often equipped with an internal memory. There are also data loggers where the memory is a memory card. How large the memory actually needs to be depends on the storage rate. If the data logger is to record much data in a short interval, the memory must be comparatively large. However, if the temperature data logger stores data for a comparatively long period of time, the memory can be selected to be smaller. In any case, the temperature data logger saves the data that has to be transferred to a PC. The transmission can take place in different ways. The temperature data logger can transmit the data to a PC or smartphone via USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or an external storage medium.
