IoT Meter with Bluetooth interface / Pass-fail function
Approx. 10,000 measurements per battery charge / Wavelength range 400 ... 700 nm /
Measured value memory / Color ranges CIE-LAB, CIE-LCh, HunterLab, CIE-Luv, XYZ, RGB
The IoT meter is designed to carry out fast and precise color measurements of surfaces. The color ranges CIE-LAB, CIE-LCh, HunterLab, CIE-Luv, XYZ, RGB of the color can be determined with the IoT meter. An LED with a wavelength of 400 ... 700 nm is built into the colorimeter as a light source. The measuring opening of the IoT meter is Ø8 mm. Despite its compact design, the IoT meter has a repeatability of ΔE* from ≤0.1.
In addition to normal color measurement, the IoT meter can also determine color differences. For this purpose, a reference measurement is first carried out with the IoT meter on any reference. Then measurements can be carried out on test objects with the IoT meter. The IoT meter in turn shows the difference between the reference and the test item. A permissible tolerance can also be stored in the IoT meter. If the tolerance is adhered to, this is indicated by a green display on the IoT meter. If the measured color is outside the tolerance, this is indicated by the IoT meter with a red display.
A connection to an Android capable device can be established with the Bluetooth interface. The free app for the IoT meter can be downloaded from the Play Store. Measurement parameters can be changed from the app to the IoT meter. In addition, the measurement can be carried out via the app. The measurement result is then displayed directly in the app. Thus, for example, measurement comparisons can be carried out via the app to the IoT meter. If measured values are saved on the IoT meter, they can be read out via the app.
The IoT meter is therefore used, for example, in quality control in a print shop to check the print result or in the automotive industry to check the paint that has been sprayed on. The battery life of the IoT meter is approx. 10,000 measurements. If the battery is discharged, it can be recharged in the IoT meter via the USB-C interface.
