This Data Logger / Data Logging Instrument in accuracy class 1 has been developed for precise, standards-compliant sound measurements in demanding applications. Thanks to its versatile measuring functions, the Data Logger / Data Logging Instrument is suitable both for professional use in occupational and environmental protection and for acoustic analyses in buildings and technical installations.
With a total of eight operating modes, the Data Logger / Data Logging Instrument offers maximum flexibility. Available modes include a standard Data Logger / Data Logging Instrument, integral average measurements, parallel measurements, statistical analyses, 24-hour noise measurements, and analyses in the 1/1 and 1/3 octave bands. In addition, the device has a special mode for indoor noise measurements and therefore supports comprehensive assessment of a wide range of sound sources.
A particular highlight is the switchable second display view. If required, an additional display can be shown, presenting the measurement results of the 1/1 octave band clearly and in real time. This makes it especially convenient to monitor and evaluate frequency-dependent sound components during measurement. For precise adaptation to different measuring tasks, the frequency weightings A, C, Z and low frequency are available. In addition, measurements can be carried out with the time weightings Fast (F), Slow (S) and Impulse (I). The wide frequency range from 10 Hz to 20 kHz allows detailed capture of both low and high frequencies.
The Data Logger / Data Logging Instrument automatically stores measurement data on a micro SD card, making it easy to keep complete documentation even over longer measuring periods. Power is supplied either via five AA batteries or conveniently via USB-C, allowing the device to be used both mobile and stationary. The clear LCD display with a resolution of 128 × 128 pixels shows measured values with a fine resolution of 0.1 dB and also provides warning messages. Measured signals can be further processed or recorded via the integrated AC/DC output. The supplied PC software enables convenient evaluation, analysis and archiving of the recorded measurement data.
The Data Logger / Data Logging Instrument is ideally suited for noise measurements in occupational safety, machine and plant monitoring, as well as environmental and emission measurements. It is also used in building acoustics, room acoustics and building planning, for example for assessing indoor noise or verifying acoustic measures. Further areas of use include quality control in industry, research and development, event monitoring and long-term measurements for documenting noise exposure.
