Surface Testing LM-MCDX-5FP
US$ 1,624.00
ex. VAT, ex. delivery costs
Numerous specialized digital probes can be connected to the Surface Testing. This makes applications on particularly small openings, thick coatings and hard-to-reach or small measuring points possible without any problems. The magnetic induction method for the Surface Testing allows measurements of paint, varnish, plastic, rubber, ceramics, galvanized coatings and galvanic coatings on steel. The eddy current method can be used to measure insulating layers such as paint, varnish, plastic or anodized coatings on non-ferrous metals.

  • Layer thickness: 2 ... 5000 µm
  • Resolution: 0.1 µm
  • Accuracy: ±1 % (100 ... 1000 µm)
  • Single measurement, scan measurement, duplex measurement
  • Color touch screen (320 × 480 pixels)
  • Data storage
  • USB and wireless
  • Standard FE probe with sliding sleeve and prism, swiveling

The Leeb Surface Testing PCE-900-ICA measures the hardness of nine different metals using the Leeb rebound method. This means that with the Surface Testing a firing pin bounces on a metallic surface and the intensity of the rebound is used as an indicator of the material hardness. The Surface Testing measures the metal hardness in 6 different hardness scales.

  • Measurement according to Leeb Rebound method
  • Testing of HRC, HRB, HV, HB, HSD
  • Measurement Range: 200-900 HLD / 13-99 HRB / 20-68 HRC / 20-655 HB / 80-940 HV / 32-99 HSD
  • Accuracy: 0.80% / Repeatability: 1.10%
  • Incl. type D Leeb probe
  • Optional Software Available
  • incl. ISO Calibration Certificate
