The Moisture Analyser / Moisture Analyzer determines the moisture content of material samples through controlled drying and simultaneous weight measurement. A ring-shaped halogen lamp heats the sample while the device continuously records the loss of mass. The moisture determination range is 0 to 100%. The integrated weighing unit provides a readability of 0.001 g.

The Moisture Analyser / Moisture Analyzer can be operated and configured for the relevant test via the 5.5-inch colour touchscreen. The heating temperature can be selected within a range of 40 to 160 °C. The temperature and drying duration can be adapted to the properties of the sample material. The graphical curve display supports monitoring of the drying process.

For different testing procedures, the Moisture Determination Scale offers timed and automatic measurement termination. In automatic mode, the analysis ends as soon as the weight loss falls below the defined stop criterion. Once the process is complete, the determined moisture value remains on the display. Stored measurement results can be recalled for later review.

The Moisture Analyser / Moisture Analyzer is suitable for applications in food processing, agriculture and the plastics, paper and textile industries. Typical samples include grain, flour, animal feed and powdered materials. For sample preparation, the manual recommends distributing the material evenly on the sample pan and using typical sample quantities of 5 to 10 g. This supports moisture control for different materials and recurring testing tasks.
