PCE-CS 1000N-ICA are digital, electronic, battery-powered hanging scales that display measurement values in kilograms (kg), pounds (lbs) and freely adjustable units. The scales include a hook / shackle, remote control and ISO calibration certificate.

The robust aluminum housing of this hanging crane scales allow weighing in even the harshest indoor industrial environments. The hanging scales are operated with three commercially available 1.5 V AA batteries, allowing for a continuous operating time of approx. 65 hours. The display of the hanging scales is a backlit LCD screen featuring large, easy-to-read digits. The timing of the backlight of the hanging scales' display can be adjusted to extend the operating time.

Other functions of the hanging scales are: gross / net weighing, sum function, data hold function, zero function, power-saving automatic shutdown and the possibility to display a measuring unit that is freely adjustable by the user. This means that the user can store a conversion factor in the hanging scales, so that the weighed product is not in kg or lbs, but in another measurement such as meters (e.g., 1 kg = 1.25 m). In addition, the hanging scales feature a linear calibration to ensure high accuracy.
