The UV Meter / UV Tester is equipped with five different scanning modes that cover different requirements and enable the detection of different materials and depths. These include ½ inch, 1 inch, and 1½ inch bar modes, as well as metal and power line detection. The UV Meter / UV Tester reliably locates the centre and edges of metal, beams, and girders in depths of up to 38 mm. Metal mode detects ferrous and non-ferrous metals in depths of up to 60 mm, whereas cable mode detects live unshielded cables up to a depth of 51 mm.
