The Pressure Meter enables precise and reliable monitoring of vacuum systems and supports installation, maintenance, and testing of a wide range of systems. The measuring range of the Pressure Meter is 0 ... 75000 µmHg. The device supports the vacuum units micron, mTorr, µmHg, Torr, mmHg, Pa, hPa, kPa, mbar, psia and inHg. The vacuum resolution is 1 ... 5,000 µmHg depending on the measuring range. In addition, the Pressure Meter calculates the moisture evaporation temperature to assist when evacuating refrigeration systems.
Reliable measurement is ensured by a precise Pirani sensor, while the measured values are updated every 0.5 seconds. The Pressure Meter features an easy-to-read 1.8-inch TFT-LCD display and also measures ambient temperature in the range of -10 ... +50 °C as well as relative humidity from 0 ... 100 % RH. Power is supplied by three AA batteries. Connection to the system is via a 1/4 inch SAE male thread (7/16 inch-20 UNF).
The Pressure Meter also features an adjustable threshold alarm with coloured backlight. As soon as the preset vacuum limit is reached, a visual alarm indication is triggered. The device is suitable for installation, maintenance, and testing of refrigeration systems, air conditioning systems, cold rooms and for monitoring vacuum pumps.
