The Moisture Tester for Wood is a versatile measuring instrument for determining the moisture content in hardwoods, softwoods, and selected building materials. With its resistive measuring principle and robust ram electrode, the Moisture Tester for Wood enables reliable and precise moisture measurements in up to 42 different types of wood. User-defined materials can also be added. Depending on the material, the measuring ranges extend from 3.5% to 150% wood moisture, with a high resolution of 0.1% and a repeat accuracy of ±0.5%. Temperature compensation can be performed both manually and automatically to ensure accurate results under different environmental conditions.
The Moisture Tester for Wood has a 2.8" LCD display that shows the current measurement value as well as the ambient temperature and humidity. Statistical functions such as the display of minimum, maximum, and average values support the evaluation of the measurement data. The measured values are stored internally, and the data can be easily transferred, analyzed, and archived via the USB-C interface and the supplied PC software. The menu navigation is available in several languages, including English, French, Spanish, and others. The Moisture Tester for Wood is operated via clearly arranged function keys. Various measurement modes, such as the choice between % wood moisture and % water content, as well as the option to create user-defined materials, offer flexibility for different applications. The powerful LiPo battery ensures a long operating time of up to 22 hours. Thanks to its IP52 protection rating, the device is protected against dust and dripping water.
