Heat Pump Test Equipment

Heat pumps offer the possibility to utilize ambient heat from the air or the ground for heating purposes. To ensure the efficient operation of the heat pump and the associated components of the heating system, they must be carefully planned and correctly installed. Various measuring devices for heat pumps assist in design and installation. Temperature and pressure measuring devices, as well as multimeters with current clamps for electrical components, are commonly used as measuring instruments for the heat pump.

To ensure that the refrigerant required for the heat pump's operation remains in a closed circuit, refrigerant leak detectors are often used during installation as a measuring instrument for the heat pump. After installation, temperatures at the system components can be quickly and easily monitored using infrared thermometers and thermal imaging cameras. The use of these types of devices as measuring instruments for the heat pump is also recommended in case of malfunctions, failures, and during routine maintenance checks.
