Earth Tester / Earth Resistance Meter

The earth tester / earth resistance meter for measuring earthing resistances, specific earth resistances and ohmic resistances can be found in our range. The battery-operated earth testers for measuring earth resistance have a timer function (e.g. 3 min), a data hold function, and a multi-digit LCD display. The resistance ranges of the earth resistance meters range from 0 ... 20, 200 Ω or 2000 Ω, depending on the model, and have a resolution of 10 Ω / 100 Ω / 1 Ω.

The measuring system of the earth tester measures the earth resistance using a constant current inverter (approx. 800 Hz, 2 mA) and the earth voltage using a rectifier (5 kΩ / V approx. 40 ... 500 Hz). The earth resistance meters are small all-rounders. Differentiating between earth, phase and neutral conductors has never been easier. Incorrect connections, outdated wiring or a defective earth conductor can be quickly identified with the help of an earth tester.
