The Electronic Weather Vane was developed to measure the wind direction in the industrial environment. This Electronic Weather Vane can be connected to data loggers, process control systems, displays. A 4 ... 20 mA signal is available as an output signal on the Electronic Weather Vane. The Electronic Weather Vane has no dead center in the north and measures the wind direction from 0 ... 360 °. In order to protect the Electronic Weather Vane from external weather influences, it is protected according to IP65.

In order to connect the Electronic Weather Vane to an evaluation, a 65ft, 20 m cable is installed on the wind direction sensor. The Electronic Weather Vane can be used for irrigation control, automation in greenhouses, on solar trackers, cable cars in ski areas, cranes, wind turbines, weather stations and wherever the wind or wind direction must be observed precisely.
