The panel meter is the ideal measuring device to determine the fill level of a silo. Thanks to the 4… 20-mA output signal, the panel meter can also be connected to the operational process control. This allows the measurement signal from the panel meter to be processed further. The panel meter can be used to check whether a silo is still sufficiently filled. The high IP protection class of the panel meter guarantees protection of the electrical components in the event of water leakage. 

With a measuring range of 10 meters / 32.8 ft, larger silos can also be monitored with the panel meter. Depending on the application, the panel meter can indicate the level or the distance between the medium and the sensor as a measured value. The ambient temperature can also be measured with the panel meter. Thanks to the extensive functions and safety aspects, the panel meter is an ideal measuring device for monitoring silo systems.
