The sound level data logger PCE-SLD 10 is used for permanent monitoring of the sound level. In addition to storing the measured values, the sound level data logger is able to display the measured values ​​on a display and output them as a 4 ... 20-mA analog value. The sound level data logger has a wide measuring range of 30 ... 130 dB. Frequency weighting is done in A or C depending on the selected measurement mode. Alternatively, the sound level data logger can measure the sound level in fast or slow mode. 

The measured values ​​are stored by the sound level data logger as an Excel file on a memory card. This has the advantage that after a measurement, the SD memory card can be easily removed from the sound level data logger and the data can be evaluated without additional software. The PCE-SLD 10 sound level data logger is powered by 6 x 1.5V AAA batteries. For long-term operation, an external plug-in power supply is included in the sound level data logger. 

The sound level data logger PCE-SLD 10 is used wherever the noise level has to be permanently monitored and a controller is to carry out further actions. In a production hall, for example, this can be the visualization of the sound level on a large display. Or, in conjunction with switchgear, closing windows and doors when the sound level is exceeded.
