Especially at a frequency of 50 Hz, the limit value of 1.36 µT applies in exposure area 1, and 0.42 µT in area 2. In principle, teslameters and EMF measuring devices / EMF test devices are identical devices. The difference lies mostly in the displayed unit. The tesla is an SI base unit for magnetic flux density. The gauss originates from the CGS unit system. Both units can be converted into each other using the factor 10000. 10000 gauss correspond to 1 tesla. Most teslameters or EMF test devices display both units simultaneously.
