For industrial continuous production of concrete, powders, wood, and other small aggregates when in-line moisture measurement for monitoring and controlling the drying and mixing process is important. Consistent quality of every batch, reduction of the consumption of materials, and shortest possible drying and mixing times are the criteria which are important in materials production. The PCE-MWM 210 moisture test sensor of PCE Instruments helps meet those criteria through highly accurate moisture measurement.
- Measuring range: 0 ... 100%
- The maximum permissible error (absolute): Lab analysis of your sample determines % error

The PCE-A-315 inline moisture sensor provides exceptionally accurate grain moisture measurement in real time. The PCE-A-315 in-process moisture meter uses low-power microwaves to penetrate the surface every 0.2 second and obtain interior moisture readings without causing any damage. An integrated temperature probe ensures the readings are accurate from 5 to 55 °C / 41 to 131 °F. Suitable for the continuous monitoring of moisture in corn, soybeans, wheat, rice, sorghum, barley, oats, rye, hops, green coffee, cocoa beans, oil seeds, flax seeds, sunflower seeds, poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds, spelt seeds, buckwheat, sesame, peas, fava beans, scarlet runner beans, triticale, amaranth and jatropha.
- Boasts a measurement range of 5% to 40% for moisture content during
continuous mass flow with an error of just ±0.5% from 5% to 18% grain
moisture
- Lowers energy costs by enabling shorter drying times and reduces labor costs
by automating the moisture monitoring process
- Provides nearly maintenance-free operation, delivering consistently accurate
moisture readings over time
- Analog output of 4 to 20 mA can be converted to digital for dryer control

The FMD 6 is a handy and versatile concrete moisture meter for reliable measurement of the moisture content of paper, wood and construction materials. The concrete moisture meter has preset characteristic curves for the moisture measurement of specific materials. The moisture meter needs external sensors (sold separately - please see accessory list) to operate. The sensors can be positioned on the surface of a material or inserted into a material, thereby permitting either non-destructive or destructive measurement.
- Measuring range: 5-99% for wood / 0-99% for building materials
- Resolution: 0.1%
- Accuracy: ±0.2%
- Memory stores up to 1,000 measurement values for transfer to PC using included software
Moisture meter for liquid materials are used in boiler installations, water-dosing and diesel oil emulsion dispersion systems. The scope of supply can include the control cabinet to operate the valves regulating water feed. The moisture meter for liquid materials has a processing unit with RS232/RS485 interfaces.
- Measurement range: 0 ... 100 %
- Limits of permissible absolute error of the measurements: Δ= 0,035 +0,05·W
- Temperature measurement range: -40 ... +150 °C
VHF-Band Moisture Meter Crushed Stone, Gravel, Ore (conveyor). The device is resistant to corrosion (stainless steel and dielectric materials) and can operate in the conditions deviating from the norm, for example, at temperatures of 145 °C. The moisture meter probe can be mounted on the walls in the hoppers, in pipelines or on trays in conveyors. Due to pluggable design this version of the moisture meter can also be used for soil moisture control.
- Measurement range: 0 ... 100 %
- Limits of error: <0.5% below 10% moisture
- Range of working temperatures:
0 ... +90 °C (industrial version)
0 ... +115 °C (extended temperature range)
0 ... +250 °C (drying kilns)
FME is a handheld concrete moisture meter for accurate measurement of the moisture content of paper, wood and building materials. The moisture meter features preset characteristic curves for material-specific moisture measurement. To detect moisture, the moisture meter requires external sensors (sold separately - see accessories) that can either be inserted into a material or placed on a material's surface, allowing for either destructive or non-destructive measurement.
- Measuring range: 5-99% for wood / 0-99% for building materials
- Resolution: 0.1%
- Accuracy: ±0.2%
