The moisture meter is a portable measuring device for water activity. Water activity indicates the amount of water that is biologically available for microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, or similar. The higher the aw value of a food, the more perishable it is. Therefore, a quick measurement with the moisture meter from PCE is possible.
