The PCE-CS 1000N-ICA is a digital, electronic, battery-powered industrial scale that displays measurement values in kilograms (kg), pounds (lbs) and freely adjustable units. The scale includes a hook / shackle, remote control and ISO calibration certificate.

The robust aluminum housing of this industrial scale allows weighing in even the harshest indoor industrial environments. The industrial scale is operated with three commercially available 1.5 V AA batteries, allowing for a continuous operating time of approx. 65 hours. The display of the industrial scale is a backlit LCD screen featuring large, easy-to-read digits. The timing of the backlight of the industrial scale's display can be adjusted to extend the operating time.

Other functions of the industrial scale are: gross / net weighing, sum function, data hold function, zero function, power-saving automatic shutdown and the possibility to display a measuring unit that is freely adjustable by the user. This means that the user can store a conversion factor in the industrial scale, so that the weighed product is not in kg or lbs, but in another measurement such as meters (e.g., 1 kg = 1.25 m). In addition, the industrial scale features a linear calibration to ensure high accuracy.
