The coating thickness meter is used for the quick and precise detection of layer thicknesses on metals. In comparison to many other coating thickness meters, this coating thickness meter does not have to differentiate between ferrous and non-ferrous metal. With the small and compact design of the coating thickness meter, one-hand operation is possible. Despite its small size, the coating thickness meter has a measuring range of 1500 µm and an accuracy of ± (3% + 1 µm). 

 

The measured values displayed can be output in µm, mm and in mils on the coating thickness meter. In addition to measuring the layer thickness, the coating thickness meter can determine the smallest, the largest and also the mean value from a series of different measurements. The coating thickness meter also has an automatic switch-off function.
