The EMF measuring device / EMF test device is a 3-in-1 measuring instrument for measuring electric field strength, magnetic field strength, and power flux density. The EMF measuring device / EMF test device measures electric field strength in the range from 1 ... 1999 V/m with a resolution of 1 V/m. Magnetic field strength can be measured in the ranges 0.1 ... 999.9 mG with a resolution of 0.1 mG and 0.01 ... 99.99 µT with a resolution of 0.01 µT. Power flux density is measured in the range from 0.1 ... 999.9 mW/m² with a resolution of 0.1 mW/m². Accuracy is ±5% for all measured variables. The bandwidth ranges from 40 Hz ... 10 GHz. Magnetic field measurement is carried out across three axes.

The EMF measuring device / EMF test device has a 2.4-inch TFT colour display and four switchable display modes. In the three measurement modes for power flux density, electric field strength, and magnetic field strength, the real-time value, historical average value, and maximum value are shown, together with the corresponding measured value trend as a graph. The overview mode displays all three measurement ranges simultaneously with their respective alarm states. The hold function allows measured values to be retained. In addition, the EMF measuring device / EMF test device allows switching the magnetic units between µT and mG.

If a limit value is exceeded, the EMF measuring device / EMF test device warns audibly, visually, and by vibration. Automatic switch-off occurs after 15 minutes and can be deactivated. Power is supplied by an integrated lithium-ion battery charged via the USB-C interface.
