The air velocity meters of the PCE-PDA series are reliable differential pressure gauges for pressure measurement of gases in the range of ± 200 kPa, ± 2 kPa and 20 kPa depending on the model. The air velocity meter has many different pressure measuring functions. This gives the user more than 16 units. Furthermore, the air velocity meter measures in addition to the differential pressure, the temperature, flow velocity and volume flow. In addition, the maximum and minimum differential pressure can be displayed in the two-part graphic display. The resolution of the differential pressure can optionally be switched. The air velocity meter incorporates a high-precision mode that increases the resolution tenfold.

The PCE-PDA air velocity meter has a data logger function. This makes it possible to carry out a leak test on pressure lines in addition to the continuous storage of the measured values. In the data logger mode, it is possible to set the differential pressure gauge to a duration in which the data is stored at a previously selected interval. In the leakage measurement mode, the user must specify the measurement duration and the differential pressure level. After the measurement, the air velocity meter then displays the deviation from the set point. In addition to these two functions, the air velocity meter, with optional pilot pitot tubes, can determine the flow velocity or volume flow in pipes.
