The Ferrite content meter / Ferrite meter has a globally unique measuring probe that can be swiveled through 90°, enabling precise coating thickness measurements at any time. Thanks to its compact design and low weight, the Ferrite content meter / Ferrite meter is barely larger than a measuring probe and is therefore ideal for on-site applications in hard-to-reach places. For interference-free measurements under harsh environmental conditions, the handy metal housing is splash-proof in accordance with protection class IP54 (previously mentioned as IP64, corrected here). A version with flowing water protection is also available as an option.
The measuring probe is equipped with a wear-resistant ruby probe pole to increase its service life for frequent use on rough surfaces.
With just one button and intuitive, multilingual menu navigation, the Ferrite content meter / Ferrite meter is extremely user-friendly. The Ferrite content meter / Ferrite meter is primarily used in the quality assurance of coating processes - for example to determine the coating thickness on vehicles or steel structures or for fire protection tests (e.g. determining the coating on steel doors). In addition to paintwork, rubber coatings, anodized coatings and galvanic coatings can also be reliably measured. For further processing of your measurement data, you can connect the device to Android or iOS devices via a wireless interface or link it to a Windows PC. The free Lima Connect app allows you to manage projects, assign measurement points to photos and statistically analyze and graphically display the measurement results.
