The handheld building moisture meter is for accurate measurement of the moisture content of paper, wood and building materials. The building moisture meter features preset characteristic curves for material-specific moisture measurement. To detect moisture, the building moisture meter requires external sensors (sold separately - see accessories) that can either be inserted into a material or placed on a material's surface, allowing for either destructive or non-destructive measurement.
- Measuring range: 5-99% for wood / 0-99% for building materials
- Resolution: 0.1%
- Accuracy: ±0.2%
The building moisture meter determines moisture content by means of the capacitive method. With the building moisture meter an electromagnetic field quickly determines capacitance of wood. This moisture meter is very easy to use as well as very robust.
- Measurement range: 2 ... 30 % H2O wood / 0 ... 60 % building materials
- Resolution: 0.1 %
- Accuracy: ±0.5 % of the reference material
- Memory: 50 measurement values
- Lower frontal sensor
- Non-destructive measurement
The building moisture meter covers all your needs while measuring moisture contents in all types of wood and building materials. The building moisture meter works without causing any damage to the material and it is mainly used to measure building walls.
- Test / Measurement range: 2 ... 30 % H2O wood / 0 ... 60 % building materials
- Resolution: 0.1 %
- ±0.5 % accuracy of reference material
- Memory: 50 measurement values
- Upper frontal sensor
- Non destructive measurement
The building moisture meter is
designed for mobile use by technicians and assemblers. It not only measures the absolute moisture in construction materials
or wood, but can also display data regarding air humidity and temperature.
- Self-test of building moisture meter
- Wood, board paper and construction material
- Battery display
- Wet-dry-indicator
- Temperature unit eligible between °C and °F
- Resistive Measuring
The building moisture meter is a damp meter for wood used to perform noninvasive, nondestructive moisture measurements of wood, timber and other construction or building materials. An ideal tool for assessing everything from lumber to floors and more, this building moisture meter uses electromagnetic waves that penetrate approximately 50 mm / 1.96 inches to 60 mm / 2.36 inches deep (depending on substrate) to return a mean-value moisture content percentage.
- Moisture content measuring range: 4% ... 60% wood, 0% ... 10% building
materials
- Resolution: 0.1%
- Accuracy: ±0.7%
The PCE-VM 40C Vibration data Logger with SMS alert functionality was designed for vibration and shock metering on buildings, bridges, towers, and other artificial structures. Designed specifically for use real-time measurement of percent moisture measurement of bulk materials. Material in flowing mass, such as granular materials, sand, sawdust, fly ash (mineral), wood chips (surface to 5 cm), grain, powders, seed, and pastes is continuously measurable. Consistent quality of every batch, reduction of the consumption of materials, and shortest possible drying and mixing times are the criteria which are important in materials production.
Suitable for determining the humidity of bulk substances, this bulk material moisture analyser can be fitted into containers and systems such as troughs, bunkers, distributors, augers, conveyors, bins and silos. This permits 24/7 moisture measurement of fibrous materials, sawdust, gravel, fly ash (mineral), wood chips (surface to 5 cm) feed grain, flour, pastes, seed, or similar bulk or flowing substances.
