Gas Test Instrument to detect carbon dioxide (CO2) / 2 configurable
alarm thresholds /
4-digit digital display / Integrated alarm transmitter / Simple wall
assembly
The PCE-WMM 50 is a well-priced device to detect carbon dioxide
(CO2). The PCE-WMM 50 prevents heath issues
caused by the colourless and inodorous gas, used in the food industry,
metal industry, in chemical processes and in the waste industry. The gas
detector consists of two units: the detector is to be placed within
locations with higher risks, while the alarm unit is placed outside that
area. The gas detector features two adjustable alarm thresholds. If
the measured value trespasses the pre-set threshold, an alarm is set-off
(alarm lights and alarm-buzzer). The gas detector PCE-WMM 50 featured
a 4-digit digital display as well as four LED lights assuring a steady
visual monitoring of the gas concentration. Through the accessible,
potential-free change-over contacts you can activate further alarm
units, switch-on an exhauster or stop a machine. The PCE-WMM 50 can be easily mounted to a wall. It consists of a system
compartment, a gas detector, an alarm unit and a cable to connect the
gas detector with a remote controlling unit. Even smaller amounts
of carbon dioxide might cause severe effects on the human organism. A
concentration above 0.3% in the air might effect the health. If the
concentration arises to 5%, it causes headaches and dizziness, while a
concentration of more than 8% lead to unconsciousness and even death.
