Environmental Tester

PCE-555 is a combination digital hygrometer and digital thermometer used to measure relative humidity or air humidity as well as air temperature, dew point temperature and wet-bulb temperature. This portable, handheld meter allows for quick and easy detection of environmental conditions. Applications include monitoring climates of refrigerated trucks, warehouses, construction sites and HVAC installations, where excess moisture, condensation and uneven temperatures can create mold, spoilage and health hazards.

With the environmental tester it is possible to determine the humidity, ambient, wet bulb and dew point temperature. Measurements up to 60 °C are possible with the environmental tester. The environmental tester has a measuring range of 0.0 … 100.0%. For a measurement, the ball head is positioned on the test object by the environmental tester. This guarantees a non-destructive measurement with the environmental tester. The environmental tester is therefore used, for example, for on-site inspections of buildings, wood and other surfaces.

The environmental tester for soil has been developed with the purpose of finding an effective method for directly determining the pH value of soil. With the help of this environmental tester, it is possible to quickly and accurately measure the pH value of soil, including a soil sample taken from the ground.
