The cable tester PCE-LT 20 is used to determine the correct assignment of wire pairs in network cables. Furthermore, the cable tester can be used to locate lines and determine the connection between cables. The cable tester is a universally applicable test device for the electrician and service technician. The cable tester PCE-LT 20 consists of a main unit and a remote display. The remote unit is used to control the assignment of the wire pairs on a remote network socket.
Furthermore, the remote unit of the cable tester is also used as a receiver for the locating signal for cable search. Using the USB sockets, the connection can be checked by a USB cable using the cable tester. The cable tester PCE-LT 20 can also be used to check analog telephone systems. For this purpose, the main unit is simply connected to a telephone jack instead of a terminal. Two LEDs on the cable tester signal an incoming call.
