Description

Volumetric Flow Rate Anemometer PCE-VA 11-ICA incl. ISO Calibration Certificate

Anemometer for Air Temperature and Infrared Temperature / Extreme Value Measurement / Measurement of Air Velocity and Volume Flow / Backlit LCD / Measurement in °C and °F / Measurement of m / s, km / h, ft / min, knot, mph

The PCE-VA 11 volume flow anemometer is a measuring instrument for a wide spectrum of applications. The anemometer offers an opportunity to determine air velocities, volumetric flow, air temperature and surface temperature. The backlit LCD allows convenient reading and facilitates the use in poorly lighted areas. Volumetric Flow Rate Anemometer PCE-VA 11 application. To mount the sensor of the volume flow anemometer is possible due to the thread on the back side. The fast response time of the device allows the real-time measurement without any problems. Immediately after the impeller has been connected, the measurement can be started and measurements will be shown on the display immediately. Besides the air velocity, the volumetric flow rate anemometer is able to measure the volume flow, i.e. the air volume. For this purpose, the cross-section of the ventilation duct or other pipe is set in the volume flow anemometer. After switching the measuring mode, the volume flow is then measured.

In order to be able to fully apply the volume flow anemometer in the maintenance of ventilation and air-conditioning systems, in addition to the flow parameters, the measuring device measures the air temperature and the surface temperature via infrared. The volume flow anemometer measures the air temperature via a temperature sensor installed in the impeller sensor. The surface temperature is measured with the help of the infrared sensor located on the front side of the volume flow anemometer. A laser helps to target the object during non-contact temperature measurement.

The volume flow anemometer finds its application primarily in the maintenance and repair sphere and is used by the service technicians and fitters in the HVAC area. But it can also be used for research purposes. In the area of research it is often important to log the measured values. To ensure this, a USB interface is installed in the volume flow anemometer. The measured values can be stored via the software.
