PCE-PCO 1 is a handheld laser particle counter, or dust measuring device, for measuring the concentration of particles in the air. The dust measuring device is battery powered to sample air quality in various environments.

The particle counter is used in offices, workshops or in laboratories to carry out indicative measurements of the environmental conditions. In addition to the number of particles, the particle counter determines the mass concentration of PM2.5 and PM10 in the measuring range 0 … 1000 µg/m³.
